Hi, I'm Tino. Since a young age, I've always been passionate about golf, eagerly following news from the PGA Tour and idolizing my "Hero," Tiger Woods. I had a clear thought about this magnificent sport: "When I get older, I'll enjoy the game during my retirement."

 

But life always reserves surprises...

 

In 2018, at the age of 26, I met my wonderful wife. After a family Sunday lunch, we went to my in-laws' garage where a lot of my wife's stuff is stored. I spotted a full golf bag, and she bet me that I couldn't hit a ball. We brought the bag out, headed to the backyard, and she, having played golf for three years, showed me how to swing. When my turn came, I teed up the ball (of course, with the driver – go hard or go home, hahaha) and swung the club, hitting the ball that flew 150 yards onto the neighbor's field. She couldn't believe it, and neither could I. But in that moment, I felt like my hero, and I truly fell in love with the sport.

 

A few weeks later, in October 2018, we decided to go to Golf de Luxembourg (Belenhaff) to give it a second try with a teacher. For me, it was clear that I wanted to obtain my green card as soon as possible, which I achieved through hard work.

 

I played with my wife for about 6/7 months, and finally, we decided to enter our first competition. I managed to win the tournament, the longest drive, and nearest to the pin. I dropped my handicap to 35, fueled by the adrenaline of the competition. I still have the same feeling for every competition.

 

After a year, I decided to take my golf to the next level. I'm so passionate that I want to become a professional golf teacher. I'd like to share my journey with you via social media and YouTube, recording my path from Zero to Hero.
